The narrative has changed dramatically since Clare and Kilkenny met in the last four of last year’s hurling Championship.
A little over 12 months ago, the pressure was on Kilkenny to make the All-Ireland decider after back-to-back semi-final defeats in 2020 and 2021.
Now, the burden of expectation is firmly on the shoulder of Clare as they bid to reach the All-Ireland final for the first time since lifting Liam McCarthy back in 2013.
