Claire Sweeney has issued a desperate plea on social media after suspecting her passport may have been stolen in Amsterdam.
The former Brookside star often travels, and shares her experiences with her many followers on Instagram. On Thursday morning she did just that, as she shared a video of a beautiful canal glimmering in the sunlight.
The clip was simply captioned "Amsterdam". But later on Claire's trip took a turn, and the star resorted to Twitter to say her passport has either been lost or stolen.

In a desperate message to Eurostar, the 51-year-old said: "I have either lost or had my passport stolen here in Amsterdam. Only here for 24 hours.
"Arrived this morning and need to be in UK tomorrow. Is it possible to travel with a photo of my passport? I have applied for emergency documents not sure when I get them."
If a person loses their UK passport while abroad, it is not possible to travel with a photocopy. People should instead apply for an Emergency Travel Document, sometimes called an emergency passport, which will allow you to return to your destination.
