Claims of healthcare crisis as state election nears

With eight days until the Western Australian election, the peak body for doctors has sounded the alarm saying the health system in the nation's wealthiest state is in crisis.

The Australian Medical Association has called on the major parties to show some ambition ahead of the state poll on March 8 and commit to building capacity in the health system.
