Nottingham Forest under-21s head coach Dave Rogers is reportedly a leading candidate to succeed Ollie Horgan as manager of Irish side Finn Harps.
Horgan left the club by mutual consent last month, following a nine-year stint at Finn Park. The decision comes after Harps were relegated to the First Division after finishing bottom of the 2022 League of Ireland Premier Division.
Harps were promoted twice under Horgan as well as reaching the FAI Cup semi-final in his first year. Rogers has since emerged as a potential candidate to take over with the club set to unveil the new manager soon.

According to reports, a decision could be announced on Friday, with the club having "almost 50 applicants from all over Europe". They have since whittled those down to 10 before drawing up a shortlist of three candidates.
Rogers, who was initially Forest's under-23s assistant head coach, was promoted to under-21s coach after Andy Reid joined Steve Cooper's first-team coaching staff. He previously played for Dundee, winning the Scottish Division One title in 1997.
The 47-year-old also spent time coaching Liverpool's academy between 2013 and 2016, before returning in the 2017/18 season. Prior to joining Forest last year, he had a stint as assistant manager of the India national team.
