Motorists can get £5 off their next fuel purchase using a money-saving deal that cuts the cost of both petrol and diesel at checkout.
The offer comes as more drivers than ever are taking to the roads in the run-up to Christmas, with ongoing train strikes reducing other transport options. Shoppers currently squeezed by rising bills in the cost of living crisis and Christmas costs have recently received some respite from record highs for petrol prices in the summer.
But fuel prices in Liverpool are still currently around the 149p mark for a litre of unleaded, although Costco was selling it to members yesterday at 137.9p a litre at its Waterloo Road forecourt, making the £5 a welcome help to take the pressure off.
