Delhi has been put on high alert ahead of the CJP protest scheduled for October 10, with extensive security arrangements being put in place across the national capital.
Neighbouring states, particularly Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, have also been alerted in view of the protest calls. Additionally, Delhi will see restrictions on retail liquor sales and cancellations of several Mail and Express trains on October 10 amid planned protests by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Left groups and student outfits of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
