CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke begins indefinite hunger strike after Wangchuk taken to hospital

Abhijeet Dipke, founding president of the Cockroach Janta Party, on Saturday began an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar after climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was shifted to a hospital by Delhi Police following a 20-day fast, alleging a police crackdown on protesters and calling on supporters to continue the agitation.

Addressing supporters at Jantar Mantar, Dipke said he was commencing an indefinite hunger strike and appealed to people not to back down.
