CJI to reconsider Justice Varma's transfer recommendation amidst protests from Bar leaders

New Delhi: Allahabad High Court Bar Association Chief Anil Tiwari on Thursday said that CJI Sanjiv Khanna has given assurance to bar leaders to consider their demand against Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Varma's transfer to the Allahabad High Court.  

Notably, he, along with other members of six Bar associations of different High Courts met the CJI and other SC collegium members to discuss the allegations against Justice Yashwant Varma.
