Civil Lines murder case: Delhi Police recover toy pistol

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police have recovered a toy pistol used and clothes worn by two juveniles accused of killing a builder at his residence in the Civil Lines area on May 1.

The police recovered them from the Yamuna river after four hours of search by divers on Wednesday. One of the accused had worn a red t-shirt on the day of the incident, and had purchased the pistol from a market.

75-year-old Ram Kishore Aggarwal's murder was reported from Civil Lines on Sunday. Police had said that the prime accused, a juvenile, had been nurturing a grudge against the victim after he was unceremoniously sacked by him from the job two years ago. To seek revenge and make quick money, he hatched the robbery-murder plot and roped in his friend, also a juvenile. The two suspects were apprehended on Tuesday night.
