The Liverpool City Region has recorded a further drop in new positive Covid tests.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the Liverpool City Region logged 10,696 infections in the seven days ending February 2 - that's 2,291 fewer infections than the previous week.

For 27 days running, all six local government areas of the city region saw drops in Covid tests.
And the Liverpool City Region's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 18%.
West Lancashire, Warrington and Cheshire West and Chester all saw drops in infections in the week ending February 2. And England recorded a drop of 15%.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 3,121 cases in the week ending February 2, which is 637 fewer cases than the previous week.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 17%.
The latest infection rate was 623.6 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 2,675 cases in the week ending February 2, which is 474 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 15%.
The latest infection rate was 824.8 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,065 positive tests over the last week - that's 233 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 18% in Halton in the week ending February 2.
The latest infection rate is 820.8 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,137 cases in the week ending February 2, which is 285 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 627.8 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 20%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 898 cases in the week ending February 2, which is 329 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 589.0 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 27%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 1,800 cases in the week ending February 2, which is a 333 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 652.4 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases fell by 16% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 10,696 positive tests over in the week ending February 2, which is 2,291 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change dropped by 18%. The latest infection rate is 628.16 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 1,475 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 2, which is 341 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 19%. There was an infection rate of 704.40 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 885 coronavirus cases in the week ending February 2, which is 152 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure fell by 15%. The infection rate was 772.95 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,184 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 2, which is 695 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 926.06 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage fell by 18% in cases.
England
In the week ending February 2, England recorded 530,800 coronavirus cases, which is 92,570 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage decrease of 15% in cases in England, and there was an infection rate of 938.64 per 100,000 people.
