A city centre restaurant has whipped food lovers into a frenzy with its giant, whiskey-imbued burger.
Liverpool's food and drinks scene is a vibrant one, packed with high end cuisines from across the globe, and budget friendly offerings ideal for January when money is a little tighter after splurging over the Christmas period.
One Parr Street restaurant has even got people planning trips to the city. Almost Famous, which also boasts venues in Leeds and Manchester, specialises in rich, juicy burgers made with "the highest quality beef paired with a next level production method".

The venue has partnered with the prestigious Aubrey Allen butcher company, whose beef is "placed in the top 1% in the world". On the restaurant's website, the beef is described as "best and right for Almost Famous."
The description also reads: "When you combine this quality with our dreamy sauces and wondertricks it really is the stuff of burger fantasies."
Recently, Almost Famous shared a video to its 63K Instagram followers, featuring its large 'Blame it on The Whiskey' burger. The huge burger contains two beef patties, barbecue pulled pork, waffle fries, cheese and more.
Captioning the clip of it being assembled on a wooden table, Almost Famous penned: "BLAME IT ON THE WHISKEY - double cheeseburger stacked with waffle fries, bbq pulled pork, pepperoni and drippin with hot honey, cholula, BBQ + bacon bacon mayo".
It proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 1,000 likes. Fans rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts. Sam said: "This makes me want to break dry Jan n drive up Liverpool love you guys".
ArtustBBQ Food & BBQ Reviews quipped: "I miss you so hard. I know you miss me too. You don't have to tell me, I just know." To which, Almost Famous replied: "I can't deny it any longer. I need you".
Fan Lauren commented: "So good", while another impressed Instagram user said: "You sick b******s. I love it!" Siobhan tagged a friend and said: "Holy mother of sweet divine jesus!" adding, "Saturday?"
Danielle told a friend: "wow, I should not have watched that when I’m this hungry", which elicited the reply: "honestly it's soo good. The dips they have are amazing too! I’m going to get double chips and wings".
