The Cincinnati Bengals approach a key offseason with plenty of questions to address over a stretch that will decide much about 2024 and beyond.
With a top-20 draft pick, key free agents like Tee Higgins and Jonah Williams and a variety of needs to address, the team doesn’t have a lot of time to figure it all out.
Here’s a guide to some of the most important dates of the offseason:
- February 20 – Clubs may designate Franchise or Transition players
- February 27 through March 4 – NFL Scouting Combine
- March 5 – Deadline for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players
- March 13 – Start of the 2024 league year
- March 13 – Free Agency begins
- April 15 – Clubs with returning head coaches may begin offseason workout programs.
- April 25 through April 27 – NFL Draft in Detriot, MI
Beyond roster management, one thing Bengals fans will want to keep in mind is that Joe Burrow expects he could be throwing again by the spring.
