New Delhi: The Central Information Commission (CIC) has directed the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), the oil ministry's planning arm, to reveal historical data on petrol production and imports, ethanol procurement and blending, and petroleum sector profits.
The direction was given to share the information with an RTI applicant after the commission found that the cell provided only "partial information."
