Church to celebrate 70 years of Baptist presence in East Kilbride with community fun day

An East Kilbride church is celebrating its own 70th Jubilee this summer.

As well as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee taking place, East Mains Baptist Church is throwing a ‘Community Day Celebration’ to mark 70 years in the town.

1952 was when the first Baptist presence was established in East Kilbride.
