Irish music legend Christy Moore will play 12 shows at Dublin's Vicar Street between this coming November and January.
The shows will take place on various dates, starting November 23, 2022 and finishing on January 15, 2023. Christy played two charity shows at the venue earlier this year, one in aid of the Irish Red Cross' Ukraine Appeal in March and another in May with money from ticket sales going to Women's Aid.
Tickets for Christy's upcoming Vicar Street shows go on sale next Thursday, November 26 at 9am via Ticketmaster.ie. Christy's latest album Flying Into Mystery was released last November, featuring twelve songs that "Christy has brought to life through his distinctive writing and unique interpretation of other artist’s songs".

Christy has garnered a loyal fanbase both in Ireland and abroad during his decades of performing. The singer has released more than 25 solo albums including Paddy on the Road (1969) and his multi-platinum pair of live albums, On the Road and Magic Nights in 2017 and 2018.
Also announced for Vicar Street today was Irish trad legends The Fureys, who will make their eagerly awaited return to the stage on Saturday, March 4 with tickets on sale this coming Monday at 10am. Additionally, Damien Dempsey added a fifth night to his string of shows at Vicar Street for December 2022.
As well as the already sold out shows on December 19, 20, 22 and 23, he will also perform at the venue on December 17 with tickets on sale this coming Monday at 10am via Ticketmaster.ie.
