Christopher Jullien doesn't have 'time to waste' in finally fulfilling the potential many had set for him in his career.
That is the view of ex-Toulouse coach Alain Casanova who saw the former Celtic defender through the middle of his career in France. Casanova was coach for seven years at the club as Jullien was a youth player elsewhere before coaching the big centre-half before his move to the Scottish giants. Jullien left Glasgow with a glut of trophies but his relationship seemed to sour with the Hoops.
The 30-year-old was recruited for around £7million from Toulouse but left to join Montpellier in the summer after seeing his game time diminished following his return from a 14-month injury hell. The big stopper admitted he and Ange Postecoglou 'didn't click' but his former coach is warning only he can change the trajectory of his playing career.

Casanova, who recently managed Lausanne Sport in Switzerland, was quizzed about the defender and admits he hasn't lived up to his full potential. The former coach insists the centre-back doesn't have 'time to waste' to start showing what he can do and put the burden on the former Hoops star.
He told 100 Paillade: “Christopher Jullien needs a lot of demands on himself. There are players where you have the ability to change your behavior, thanks to the demands of the coach or the environment.
"But he is the only one capable of it. Christopher has great potential. Today, I think that compared to the objectives he had been able to set, he is below what he would have liked to do.
"He had enormous potential and projection, unfortunately this was not 100 per cent exploited. Why? He was often lacking in self-demand and I think he is aware of it. He reaches an age where he no longer has much time to waste.
"He no longer played at Celtic, he arrived in Montpellier, it was complicated from the start even if the dynamic was difficult for everyone.
"Now it's up to him to show his qualities and God knows he has them to be even more efficient, and to continue his ascent towards his real ambitions."
