Christopher Jullien is set to join Schalke on loan from Celtic with an option to make the deal permanent, according to a report.
We told earlier today how the Hoops defender - who was signed by Neil Lennon for £7million back in 2019 - was attracting interest from the Bundesliga outfit and French sides including Rennes and Lorient. But he now looks set for a stint in Germany with well-respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claiming a deal is done. He says medical checks are underway and he will put pen to paper later today.
He wrote on Twitter: "Schalke are set to sign Christopher Jullien from Celtic. Done deal and medical ongoing right now - gonna be loan deal with buy option included. Contract to be signed later today, right after medical tests."
