Christmas number one announced as LadBaby breaks record

LadBaby has made chart history after he secured this year's Christmas number one.

The social media star has now surpassed a record set by The Beatles in the 1960s as he claimed the top spot for the fifth year in a row. Mark Hoyle and his wife Roxanne partnered with Martin Lewis to record Food Aid, which reworks the Band Aid song Do They Know It's Christmas? with lyrics about the cost-of-living crisis.

The chart-topper was stunned to discovered he had reached the top of festive charts again. He said: "I can't quite believe it. We're number one. The charity has made it five years in a row. How have we done this again?
