Having made it to December, Christmas is now right around the corner, which means plenty of shoppers are looking out for presents for their loved ones.
While some may think that the best deals have come and gone, there are still ways to make great savings on Christmas gifts - particularly for those who are due to go on holiday this month.
That's because you can get popular items such as perfumes and drinks at the Duty Free for much less than you would on the high street.
Duty Free stores are often cheaper than the high street because you don't have to pay taxes to the country you've purchased your shopping from.
The consumer experts at Which? have compared Duty Free prices with those of popular retailers and revealed just how much savings could be made.
For example, a 50ml Paco Rabanne 1 Million for Men eau de toilette bottle will cost £41.30 at World Duty Free, but it will put you back £54 at Boots.
If you wanted a 100ml Emporio Armani He eau de toilette, you would only have to spend £39.95 at Duty Free, compared to the £63 that you would have to dish out at Boots.
The same goes for booze with a litre of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey costing £24.89 versus the £32 you would have to spend at Asda or the £33 price tag at Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
And for Smirnoff Red Label vodka, a litre would cost you £18 at Asda or £22.50 at Tesco or Sainsbury’s, but you'll have to pay just £11.29 at World Duty Free.
The publication shared some further guidance, writing: "Check prices online with World Duty Free and on the high street as close to your departure date as possible.
"That way, you’ll know whether you’re getting a genuine saving."
