As Father Christmas sets off on his most important journey of the year we've rounded up all the supermarket opening times on Christmas Eve, just in case you need a final dash to the shops.
If you’ve still got a few last minute things to buy, or realise you've forgotten to get someone a present, you might need one more trip to the supermarket before they close for Christmas Day.
Don't forget, supermarket staff deserve a Christmas break too which means most stores will be closing earlier than usual today and some will even be closed on Boxing Day as well. Below we’ve rounded up the opening and closing times for some of the big superstores across Merseyside, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda, plus Aldi, Lidl and the M&S Food stores.
