It is officially Christmas this weekend, meaning you might be wanting pop to the shops over the next couple of days to get in some last-minute essentials.
While you might think that you have everything sorted for the big day, you usually find that you need to make a quick dash for gifts and stocking fillers on Christmas Eve.
If that is the case, then it is worth knowing that some retailers will still be open on Saturday, December 24 for any last-minute shoppers, but they will be open at reduced hours.
Many major shops tend to reduce their opening times on Christmas Eve to give staff a well-deserved extended break over the holidays, while some have chosen to remain closed completely this year.

Home Bargains
Home Bargains will be closing earlier on Christmas Eve, as the retailer confirmed stores will be open from 8am - 5pm.
Stores will then remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before reopening as normal from Tuesday, December 27.

B&M stores across the country will be also operating at reduced hours on Christmas Eve, with the majority open from 8am-6pm.
The discounted retailer is also one of the limited number of stores that will be opening back up on Boxing Day for the same reduced hours.
Stores will go back to normal operating hours from Tuesday, December 27.

Primark
The fast-fashion chain will also be closing stores earlier on Christmas Eve, with stores open from 8am-5pm.
Primark stores will then reopen as normal from Boxing Day, Monday, December 26.

All IKEA stores across Scotland will remain closed on Christmas Eve this year and will remain closed on Christmas Day.
