As Greater Manchester wakes up this Christmas, many will be pulling back the curtains and hoping for a white Christmas.
That sadly won't be on the cards this year - but many of us will just settle for dry weather following days of heavy rain and winds.
If you're hoping for a bit of sun for your Christmas Day walk this year, you might be in luck if you pick the right time, as forecasters at the Met Office predict a mixed picture across the region today. Here's your Christmas Day weather forecast for Greater Manchester.

We've started the day with clouds and rain across the region in a typically Mancunian morning. For the time of year, the big day looks set to be mild, with morning temperatures of around 8C.
Moving into the afternoon, the rain looks set to stay until around 1pm. After that, forecasters predict the showers will clear, leaving dryer conditions and highs of around 10C. Some may even be lucky enough to snatch a bit of sunshine, especially in the early afternoon.
Experts say a more organised band of rain will arrive from the west later, perhaps becoming wintry in the very far north. However, Greater Manchester looks largely dry into the evening, with showers starting at around 11pm and continuing into Boxing Day morning.
Tomorrow morning (Monday December 26) will see temperatures plunge to around 2C. There will be plenty of sunny spells throughout the day, with a continued risk of wintry showers.
The Met Office says it will be a cloudy and wet Christmas for much of the UK, with any wintry showers confined to the far northwest.
