A host of families have claimed their Christmases have been ruined by receiving 'rotten' turkeys from supermarket giants across the UK.
After parents made the grim discoveries upon receiving their supermarket delivery, many have taken to social media to complain about the gone-off poultry, reports the Daily Record.
One of the turkeys, which had black and blue stains underneath its skin, has even been compared to the famous film alien, ET. Sophie Whike shared a picture of the turkey on Twitter and wrote: "Literally what the hell is this. Just defrosted my Turkey from @LidlGB.
