If you haven't managed to book a spot at Christmas At Bute Park in Cardiff yet, you're in luck as extra dates have just been added to its schedule. The festive attraction has been a huge hit since returning to the capital on November 24, with its stunning 1.4km trail featuring a light show with glittering illuminations, breath-taking sculptures and special effects seeing slots booked up quickly.
The attraction - one of a host of great festive events around south Wales which also include Cardiff's Winter Wonderland, the panto and The Luminate light show at Margam Park - was due to close on January 2 but has been extended due to phenomenal demand for tickets.

In a post on their official Instagram page, Christmas at Bute Park said on Monday that it had added additional dates on January 2, January 5, 6, 7 and 8. It said: "Due to popular demand we've added extra January dates. Not got your ticket yet? Why not make a brand new tradition to kick-start January after the indulgence of Christmas!
"Grab your walking boots, friends & family members & enjoy the crisp air, as you walk our trail in leisure & immerse yourself in a magical world of illuminations and lights."
The extension of Christmas at Bute Park adds to a number of other main festive attractions in Cardiff you can enjoy in January if you don't manage to get there before the big day. These include Winter Wonderland near City Hall, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at New Theatre and the Cardiff Castle Christmas Festival.
