Christine McGuinness has received support from many of her fans after sharing she is "moving forward".
The former Miss Liverpool tried something new on Wednesday, and was proud of herself for doing so. Christine was diagnosed with autism in 2021.
The condition impacts many aspects of everyday life, including often making going out to eat and trying new foods difficult. On Wednesday, Christine shared a photo of herself in front of a plate of food and said: "I tried a new restaurant, and new food.

"It went ok, I don't think I'll go back because the smell and taste of the food was too strong for me personally but I tried it. So that's good!"
The 35-year-old also told her Instagram followers: "Every time you thought you couldn't move forward, you did. Take a moment to appreciate how strong and capable you are" and was quickly inundated with well wishes in the comments section.
Richard said: "Never underestimate an autistic person. They will invariably surprise you and themselves", while Sam said: "Having perseverance is all about being able to bounce back and keep moving forward." Ethan said: "Living your best life, proud x".
Jen said: "Thank you for being you and for all you do to raise autism awareness. It isn't always easy but life is beautiful when we truly see it".
