Christine McGuinness says she and her ex-husband Paddy 'smashed it' as they both showed the reality of their first day of summer with their three children off school. The former couple, who still live together in Cheshire, both took to social media after they completed day one of the eight-week holidays.
Christine, 35, and Paddy, 49, reunited last week as they both attended sports day as their children - twins Penelope and Leo and youngest daughter Felicity - participated for the first time. They then had more celebration to do last weekend when their twins turned 10 with the doting parents throwing a party at home.
Their young children have since finished school and Christine previously appeared on social media asking for recommendations about where she could take Penelope, Leo and Felicity for days out that would be autism-friendly after she and all three of her kids were diagnosed with the developmental disability.

And taking to Instagram late on Friday (July 7), Christine shared how she managed to keep them entertained for their first day off. A play mat had been set out on the glistening tiles which were soon covered in pink-coloured paint after some indoor messy play. "8 weeks of this," the model penned alongside a face palm and crying laughing emoji.
"School summer holidays, gorgeous!" she added before sharing the same video on the new social media site Threads. Alongside the post on the new Meta app, from the company behind Facebook and Instagram, Christine wrote: "Day 1 of school holidays. Absolutely smashed it. Gorgeous masterpiece."
Meanwhile, Paddy also shared a similar video to his own Instagram Story as he followed the paint marks through the house while muttering "Oh my God" and "Oh s**t" as he followed the mess that featured footprints.
The update on their family life comes after Christine stunned her fans with a barely-there display in the garden. The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star looked sensational as she paraded her gym-honed physique in a teeny bikini on her Instagram page before heading outside for a moment's peace in the sunshine.
Christine modelled a two-piece ombre swimsuit as she posed in front of the mirror at her Cheshire mansion before she headed to try and top up her bronzed glow. She then later appeared to go anaturale as she ditched her bikini top to ensure she caught an all-over tan while the UK basked in intense temperatures.
She wore her blonde tresses in loose natural waves which she then tied up into a messy bun. But while she may have been enjoying having time away from her three children, Christine explained that she was not alone as a group of unexpected visitors entered her home.
"I can't get any peace around here," she joked while showing a clip of the feathery animal, which she has now named Deidre, waddling around her garden and entering her kitchen.
