Christine McGuinness has said she 'doesn't know life without Paddy' as she opened up about her split. The model and the Top Gear host announced back in July that they had separated after 15 years together.
Christine, 35, and Paddy, 49, made the announcement on July 22 last year that they were calling it quits in a joint statement which they shared on social media. They said: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.
"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We’ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together."

The former couple, who share nine-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and youngest daughter Felicity, six, added: "We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life. Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We’ll be making no further comment. Loads of love. Paddy & Christine."
When talking to OK! Magazine in a new interview, Christine admitted that worrying about how all three of her children, who have all been diagnosed with autism, will cope as they get older keeps her awake at night.
Christine also opened up on how she’s making co-parenting work with her TV presenter ex-husband, who she married in 2011 after meeting him at 19, which includes them still living together in their Cheshire home as they "don’t want to change anything too quickly," the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star told the publication.
Speaking about what Paddy thinks of her now, she said that the Question of Sport host is "proud" of her recent solo documentary, Christine McGuinness Unmasking My Autism, which was born out of receiving her own diagnosis with the developmental disability.
She added that he's supportive of her work and that she'd expect nothing less. "He watched it [the BBC documentary] and he loved it, and said he was really pleased that not only was I working but I was making a big difference as well," she said. "It’s good he’s supportive because I need him to be. I need to be able to leave happily knowing the children are being looked after and safe. It’s partnership and teamwork."
Christine has also said that she doesn'e feel like a single mum yet because nothing has changed in her life, but explained that her own mum was a single mum so she knows that she'll be fine.
She added: "I’ve had the children a hell of a lot, from when they were newborns. Paddy was always working away and I was a full-time mum. I probably felt more like a single mum back then than I do now, because he’s at home a lot more now than he was then."
