Christine McGuinness has dubbed herself a 'lazy b***h' following an awkward hotel room blunder.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 35, took to social media this afternoon to share the embarrassing incident with her fans and laughed the mishap off.
Christine, who recently opened up about her split from estranged husband Paddy McGuinness, started off her day this morning in the gym - telling her Instagram followers "that was an early morning sesh" as she shared a post-workout selfie on her Stories.
The mum-of-three was then on the move as she headed off via train to London to attend some meetings - with the awkward incident occurring just moments after the star checked into her hotel for the night.
Talking to her followers as she sat down on her hotel bed, Christine began saying: "So I've just got to London and checked into my hotel and the lady on reception gave me a keycard and told me what floor I was on but didn't say what room.
"I'd already got in the lift and gone up to the floor and thought 'I'm not going back down now' so I just walked around the floor, checking every single door with my key card until one opened like a proper lazy b***h."
But before Christine located her room, one of her attempts to discover her home the night resulted in an encounter with another hotel guest.
"With one of the rooms, I put my key in the door and obviously there was a fella in there who heard me trying to open his door," Christine laughed as she continued her story.
Giggling, she added: "He came out and was like 'do you want me to help you find your room?'
"I'm fine now - I'm in!"
Christine's hotel blunder comes as the mum-of-three opens up about her living arrangements with ex Paddy.
The Top Gear presenter and model announced the end of their marriage after 11 years last summer but continue to live in the same house for the sake of their young children; twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, seven.
In an exclusive interview with Mirror, Christine discussed her plans to start dating again as she helped to launch Vanish's new campaign Me, My Autism & I – in partnership with the charity, Ambitious about Autism.
The model and TV star was diagnosed with autism at the late age of 33.
"Ideally, I would have to know someone first before I started dating like me and Patrick were friends first and then it turns romantic," she told us earlier this month.
"But now I've got zero time and anytime I've got needs to be for me, I just want to focus on work and on my children. You can never say never, but dating doesn’t appeal to me from what I’ve heard."
