Christine McGuinness has praised her family for the support they have given her and her kids after discovering they have autism.
The model, 34, revealed last November that she too is autistic after her three children were diagnosed.
She has previously confessed that her undiagnosed condition meant she struggled at school, but she's now proud of the support available - both from her family and her peers.
Speaking to The Mirror, Christine said: "It’s always an honour to be here, I’m autistic I’ve got three autistic children and the Caudwell ball is all about raising money and support."
And she admitted she will continue to push for more awareness of the condition and intends to throw herself into new challenges while doing so.
She continued: "At the minute I’m doing another documentary with the BBC focusing on autistic women and girls and I’m really excited for that.
"I wouldn’t say no to doing more reality as I had so much fun doing The Games. I understand myself so much more now I know and why I struggle in certain situations.
"I always felt apologetic about the way I am but now I know it’s okay [to be how] I am what I am and I accept it. It’s helped me; it’s been a huge relief."
She knows that being autistic is going to continue to test her in her working life, but she added how those closest to her have been a huge help and support.
"I think the biggest hurdle has been with work," she revealed. "My management know I need more information with things and I don’t like as many changes.
"I always had an amazing bond with the children anyway and now I understand why because I always got it because I’m the same.
"Just with any family we’re super close and I love them. I’m so proud of the children. They’re doing amazing."
She was appearing at the Caudwell Children Butterfly Ball without hubby Paddy, but had moved to deny the couple had split.
She looked the epitome of glamour as she made a solo appearance at the charity's big event wearing a sparkling sheer dress with gold and silver beads.
