Christine McGuinness has been inundated with almost the same response to her fresh Instagram post after opening up about her unique living arrangements with her ex-husband Paddy. The model took to Instagram on Thursday (April 6) amid enjoying the Easter break with her children.
Last month, Christine revealed that she was planning a getaway just as her ex-husband Paddy gave a rare, and brilliantly honest, insight into life as a dad-of-three as the former couple continue to live together in their Cheshire home.
She posted a picture of her being snapped taking a selfie in a sun-soaked location as she said: "Dear universe. More sunshine and sunsets please." Christine added: "Can anyone recommend where this mama can get some heat April-May? Not too far away.. 4hrs max." She also posted the same call out to her Instagram Story and said: "Help me out. Where am I going this year?" before saying: "I need heat!"
And it does appear a trip is on the cards as she shared a snap to her Instagram Story from a previous sunshine break. It showed Christine with her back to the camera as she donned a tiny blue bikini set. She could be seen raising her toned arms to play with her blonde locks as she looked out to the sea view while taking a dip in an infinity pool.
"Never looking back..." she started to type to her followers. "I'm ready for a busy half term focussed on my little family," she went on to say with a string of red hearts. "Then.. [plane emoji]. This mama needs some R&R," she added.
In her latest social media update, Christine posted a picture of a Polaroid seemingly taken in a photo booth. It showed four different black-and-white images of the 35-year-old as she posed in front of a textured backdrop while sporting a black bodysuit and her new shorter locks down with her bangs framing her face.
Captioning the post, Christine wrote: "There was something in the water.. it gave me giggles, it tasted better, my mind was free.. water is the key," adding a rose and black heart emoji. And the compliments soon started to flood in with many telling Christine she looked 'happy'.
@leathwaitep2020 said: "Gorgeous lady." @kararees__ commented: "You look happy." @em.ross06 wrote: "Wow such gorgeous photos." @kellyreevesphotography shared: "Pure joy and happiness." @stuartjoszko74 replied: "Great photos, you look so happy. Onwards and upwards." @shaunltfc commented: "Beautiful as ever." @nannydoes added: "You look absolutely stunning!"
It comes after Christine said her and ex Paddy are 'absolutely fine' with living in the same house despite splitting up last year. In July last year, following a family trip, the couple revealed they had broken up for some time before. The former couple, who share children Penelope, Felicity and Leo, have continued to live in the same house for the sake of their children - who have all been diagnosed with autism.
During an appearance on Jeremy Vine on Channel 5 this week, Christine was asked about the unique living arrangements. "You know what, it's been absolutely fine," Christine, who was diagnosed with autism herself at 33, told host Jeremy. "I don't know any different than to live with him. I can't remember not living with him.
"I've been with him since I was 19 years old and we just want to do what's best for our children. It's certainly not a long-term plan." She continued: "But for right now, we don't feel like anything needs to change for me and my children. I think slow changes are better and it works well.
"We're both in and out of the house quite often with work. We've got busy schedules so it doesn't make sense for us to rush into separate houses anytime soon. For as long as the kids are happy, we're happy."
