Christine McGuinness has opened up about the "ups and downs" in her marriage to Paddy McGuinness - ahead of a make or break family holiday for the pair next week.
The model has been open about her marriage difficulties as of late, after fans started speculating they were going through a rocky time in their relationship as Paddy wasn't there to support her on The Games and she went on a girls' trip without him.
Christine and Paddy were also seen looking glum as they were spotted together for the first time following Christine's solo trip away.
And during her appearance on ITV's Lorraine - where she chatted with Carol Vorderman, who is standing in for Lorraine Kelly - Christine admitted marriages go through tough times, but her and Paddy's focus are their kids.
She said: "I think marriages just go through ups and downs anyway. I think all marriages - especially long ones like ours - it's not always going to be plain sailing but we're trying to deal with things as privately as possible.
"We just want to be there to support the children and have an amazing summer. We're going away on a family holiday next week and we're really excited. They're always going to be our focus."
Christine previously explained she was having a "difficult time" with Paddy after rumours swirled about a potential split.
"What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and the same for him," she explained to The Sun about her marriage, "I can't lie we're having a very, very difficult time.
"It’s just - we’ve been together 15 years, 11 years married: we are gonna have ups and downs - but this situation at the minute - I don’t want to go into it too much but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation."
Sources had claimed to The Mirror that Paddy and Christine were "trying to work through various issues," as one source explained that "it's been a very tough time of late" for the pair of them.
She appeared to address the rumours with a message on social media last week, adding: "Regarding the press... There is only one thing I want to make clear right now... I didn't put us in this situation."
Christine and Paddy have been together for 14 years and share twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and six-year-old Felicity. Christine was recently diagnosed with autism and praised her family for supporting her through it all.
Speaking to The Mirror, Christine said: "It’s always an honour to be here, I’m autistic I’ve got three autistic children and the Caudwell ball is all about raising money and support. At the minute I’m doing another documentary with the BBC focusing on autistic women and girls and I’m really excited for that. I wouldn’t say no to doing more reality as I had so much fun doing The Games.
"I understand myself so much more now I know and why I struggle in certain situations. I always felt apologetic about the way I am but now I know it’s okay [to be how] I am what I am and I accept it. It’s helped me; it’s been a huge relief."
Paddy recently headed home from a work trip abroad in Thailand - where he's believed to have been filming for the new series of Top Gear - to be with his family, and promised there would be lots of "cuddles" for everyone when he got back.
Christine shared a snap of the kids enjoying the sun in the paddling pool as she lingered nearby. Paddy was quick to comment on the picture, adding: "Cuddles tomorrow [when I'm back]."
Meanwhile, Christine recently headed off on holiday herself too with some of her pals and whilst she hinted at troubles in her relationship, she is still wearing her wedding ring.
She and Paddy were also seen looking rather glum recently as they pulled up to a shop in Macclesfield, Cheshire in their Mercedes G Class Wagon a couple of weeks ago, as split rumours swirled.
"They looked miserable. At one point Christine wiped her eyes. They were peering in different directions. Their body language did not seem at all friendly," a source shared previously.
"Both looked as if they had the weight of the world on their shoulders."
Amid the split rumours, Christine had shared a cryptic post and a series of motivational quotes on her Instagram account, with one reading: "This year I met the most broken version of me, but also the strongest."
Alongside it, she penned: "There is only one thing I want to make clear right now... I didn't put us in this situation."
During her appearance on Lorraine, Christine explained that since she has been given her autism diagnosis, she understands herself a lot more - but she also feels more able to do things now, which she says is what was behind her decision to go on a girls' trip.
She headed to Croatia with her friend and The Games co-star Chelcee Grimes, and is also planning a new location for a holiday with Paddy next week. She also admitted he had never seen a waterfall before her trip to Croatia.
Explaining how she prefers routine, she said her diagnosis has helped her cope with the unpredictability of the world.
