Christine McGuinness admits 'difficulties' in Paddy marriage in candid Lorraine interview

Christine McGuinness has admitted 'difficulties' in her and husband Paddy's marriage, admitting they've had their ups and downs.'

Speaking in an interview with The Sun' s Fabulous magazine at the weekend, Christine went on the record about their relationship, which has been the subject of much speculation, saying: "I'm feeling really quite raw and all over the place. What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn't put up with now, and the same for him.

'I can't deny we are having a very, very difficult time."

After making those comments, Christine, model and star of ITV shows The Games and The Real Housewives of Cheshire joined stand-in presenter Carol Vorderman on Tuesday's Lorraine and made more admissions to the Countdown icon about how things were between her and I Can See Your Voice host Paddy, having previously confessed to being 'physically sick' at seeing pictures of him with All Saints star Nicole Appleto n in 2018.

Christine and Paddy have been together since meeting at an event in 2007 and, speaking candidly about their issues, Christine said: "I think marriages just go through their ups and downs anyway, you know. I think all marriages, especially long ones like ours, 15 years together, it's not always going to be plain sailing, but we're trying to deal with things as privately as possible and we both just want to be there to support the children and give them an amazing summer.

Christine continued: "We're going away on a family holiday next week and we're really excited about it. And they (the children) are always going to be our focus.; So yeah, that's the most important thing for us."

The 34-year-old won wide spread respect and admiration last year when she spoke out about her own autism diagnosis, having previously spoken about her and Paddy's children having the condition. Christine revealed she'd 'hidden' her autism from co-stars when she took part in The Real Full Monty, breaking down on camera as she struggled in rehearsals.
