Christine Lampard says husband Frank is a 'softie' when it comes to parenting

Christine Lampard has opened up on parenting with husband Frank.

The Newtownards woman and the former footballer have two children together, Patricia, 4 and Freddie, 1.

The TV presenter was speaking exclusively to MailOnline at The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards and explained how her husband is 'the biggest softie ever'. She also explained how she's the slightly stricter parent

Christine said: "I'm a little bit of both, I like manners and I like all the old school-y stuff. But we like we get out a lot.

"I'm one for getting them out into the park with the dog and I do my best to be the best that I can."

When talking about Everton FC manager Frank, the NI woman added: "He's the biggest softie ever. The second they want something, it's like 'Daddy!''

It came as Christine attended the Who Cares Wins Awards at The Roundhouse in Camden and praised the NHS.

The MailOnline reports she said: "I'm very blessed that I live a 30 second walk away from the Chelsea Westminster, which has come in ridiculously incredibly handy with two little babies who have had various bits and pieces as we've all done over the past couple of years.

"So I mean we can't praise it enough and I think sadly we don't hear enough individual stories from people who work day in, day out trying to make all of our lives better and tonight hopefully does that a little bit.

"Just a little bit of a spotlight on the goodness that is still in this world. We hear so much bad stuff at the minute. It's so lovely to actually celebrate like the good people still, and that's what we're here to do."
