Christian Ramirez vents over Aberdeen transfer exit snub as he offers veiled 'make it make sense' Hearts loan take

Outcast Aberdeen striker Christian Ramirez has taken to social media to offer a veiled response to boss Jim Goodwin with the frontman set to remain at Pittodrie on deadline day.

Reports claimed that Hearts enquired over the prospect of a loan move for the USA international following Liam Boyce's nightmare injury, with Ramirez only making one Scottish Premiership appearance so far this season following the arrival of new number nine Bojan Miovski. The 31-year-old made a storming start to his Pittodrie career after joining from MLS side Houston Dynamo 12 months ago when former boss Stephen Glass made him the focal point of his attack, but faded under Goodwin.

The Aberdeen boss was quick to dismiss talk of Ramirez joining Robbie Neilson's men when quizzed over Ramirez's future. He said: "I don’t think that’s a transfer that’s going to happen. I can’t see us loaning a player to one of our rivals. And as of this moment in time I’m not aware that Hearts have even made contact."

With a move to Tynecastle sidelined, Ramirez looks set to remain in the Granite City with the end of the summer window fast approaching. Fringe stars like David Bates have been shipped out of the club, and the frustrated attacker took to social media as the deadline day clock ticks down.

Ramirez commented in a now deleted tweet: "Make it make sense please. There are two sides to every story. That’s all for now."

The frontman netted three goals in the Premier Sports Cup campaign to kick off the season. Since then he has made an 18-minute cameo during the rout of St Mirren.
