Christian Pulisic has welcomed the fresh competition brought to Chelsea by Raheem Sterling despite the United States international facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from west London this summer having fallen somewhat out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.
Pulisic started just 13 of Chelsea's 38 Premier League fixtures last season, finding the net just six times. The winger, who sees his contract with the Blues expire in 2024, has often only performed in moments, struggling to sustain a high-level of performance across the duration of a fifty to sixty-game campaign.
Todd Boehly is set to let Pulisic leave this summer if he receives acceptable offers, with Juventus said to be among a handful of European club's interested in his services. However, the winger seems intent on enjoying a future at Chelsea - even following the arrival of Sterling who will likely rival him for first-team opportunities.
