Brentford manager Thomas Frank has revealed that he has a transfer agreement with Christian Eriksen as the attacking midfielder makes a decision over his future plans. Linking up with the Bees back in January after returning to the game following the cardiac arrest he suffered at Euro 2020 while playing for Denmark, the 30-year-old's short-term contract in west London expires at the end of this month.
Excelling for Frank's side as he helped them finish the 2021/22 Premier League season strongly by contributing with one goal and four assists in 11 games, the Dane has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, including Tottenham. Tipped to return to N17 on a free transfer following his long spell at the club and working under Antonio Conte at Inter Milan previously, football.london understands that Spurs have not followed up their interest yet over a free transfer for their former man.
Brentford and Manchester United have also been mentioned in regards to moves for Eriksen this summer, but those within Tottenham are now suddenly distancing themselves from any talk of discussions involving the attacking midfielder.
