Christian Eriksen has spoken about how it felt getting booed by Brentford fans who until recently adored him.
The Danish midfielder made a playing return with the Bees earlier this year, following his cardiac arrest at the European Championships in the summer of 2021.
He made his debut for Thomas Frank's side back in February and in just 11 appearances he scored one goal and assisted four. After playing a significant role in them comfortably securing their Premier League status, Eriksen opted to join up with Manchester United rather than extend terms with the London side.

And Brentford fans let the 30-year-old know their feelings when the sides met at the start of this season. Home fans booed their former player in an emphatic 4-0 win back in August — something Eriksen has now had his say on.
"It was a bit of a mix," he told Danish media outlet Tipsbladet on the return. "They (Brentford fans) were very happy after they were about to win 4-0, and then people jumped on the wave.
'It was easy to boo. It's not something I remember as anything good. You can turn it as you please. One way or the other. When people choose to boo, it sounds one way no matter what."
Since that heavy loss in the capital, Eriksen and his United teammates have turned their fortunes around and have won four successive league games, with the Dane particularly impressive.
