Christian Eriksen makes admission about Erik ten Hag
Christian Eriksen says Manchester United are taking each game step-by-step in every competition, although the players have not been told by Erik ten Hag which trophies to target.
The Dane featured and scored in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup to set up a quarter-final tie with League One Charlton Athletic in three weeks' time. United are still in every competition available to them this season with their FA Cup campaign getting underway against Everton on January 6.

Aside from the league objective, Eriksen has now revealed that the players have not been asked to focus on one trophy in particular. Instead, the midfielder looked at the team’s progress in perspective, stating that the Carabao Cup is still important given United have gone five years without a trophy.
“It’s been a few years since winning a trophy the last time,” Eriksen told talkSPORT. “From where the club were to where we are now, the aim is to focus on every competition and see where we are in the end.

Man United fans group outline Glazer demand
The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) has reaffirmed its desire to see the Glazers enact a full sale of the club and ensure that any new incoming owners are the right fit.
It has also sought to reassure members that talks about a Fans Share Scheme (FSS) are continuing despite the hierarchy announcing last month that it is deciding to "explore strategic alternatives". In its December newsletter to its members, MUST said there are signs of “green shoots” and that "we leave 2022 in a better place.”
The group re-emphasised its hope that the Glazers embark on a total, clean-cut exit from Old Trafford, and that the new owners need to be able to help the club reach the top table of European football once more.
MUST further acknowledged that there needs to be more investment in the club, regardless. In its statement released on Christmas Eve, it said: “If the team ends 2022 with signs of green shoots, then we can say the club does too.
