Christian Eriksen and Tottenham Hotspur will meet again on Saturday in the Premier League and it might just be the first step towards a more meaningful reunion.
Spurs travel to Brentford on Saturday evening looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League following the disappointing defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend. They will now come up against a Brentford side full of confidence following three consecutive victories.
Eriksen will be looking to impress against his old side and his former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte, who he won the Serie A title with last season. The 30-year-old Dane is a free agent in the summer and the Italian has already admitted, before the midfielder really began to shine again in the Premier League, that he would be interested in signing him again and bringing him to Tottenham.
