Chrissy Teigen welcomes new baby with husband John Legend as singer confirms at concert

Chrissy Teigen has welcomed her new baby with her husband John Legend.

The 36-year-old - who already shares Luna, six, and Miles, four, with John - first announced the news of her pregnancy on August 3 and said she was expecting a 'miracle' baby.

Her pregnancy came two years after losing their baby boy Jack.

According to People, John told concert goers they had "the little baby this morning" on what he called a "blessed day".

Concert goers took to Twitter to talk about the news.

One wrote: "@johnlegend just told us he had a baby this morning."

Chrissy took to her Instagram to share snaps of her baby bump in August and explained how 'joy has filled' their home after a hard few years.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again," she said.

"1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

"I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.

"Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!"

At the time, friends and fans rushed to the comment section to congratulate the star.

Lily James shared a series of red hearts in the comments section.

"Yay!! I’m so, so happy for you guys, love," Queer Eye's Tan France posted.

In September 2020, John and Chrissy tragically lost their third child, a baby boy they had named Jack, 20 weeks into her pregnancy.

The Green Light singer previously opened up about their heartache after losing their baby in an interview with The Guardian.

He said: "We were tested. It was a tragedy. But I think it strengthened our resolve and our resilience because we were there for each other.

"We came out even more sure of who we were as a couple and as a family."

He also reflected positively on the support they received: "I was amazed by the outpouring of love and support we felt.

"Also, we found out how many other families have gone through this. It was a powerful and brave thing that Chrissy did to share that because it made so many people feel like they were seen and that they weren’t alone."

The Mirror have contacted Chrissy and John's reps for comment.
