Chrissy Teigen has addressed claims social media claims she welcomed her daughter, Esti Maxine, via surrogacy by sharing a photo of her C-section.
Earlier this week, the 37-year-old highlighted the cruel speculation about her pregnancy when she shared a post from a user, who claimed that Teigen was “born male” and “used something called a moonbump” during her pregnancy.
Highlighting the hilarity of the claim, the model wrote “obsessed with this comment” as she reshared the post from the social media user, who insisted they were a “huge fan”.
Now hitting back at the claim, the model, who also shares Luna, seven, and Miles, four, with husband John Legend, shared the intimate photo of the moment her youngest was born on Instagram.
She penned: “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump’” over the picture which saw her looking up to see baby Esti being held by doctor mid-delivery.
Following the birth of baby Esti, Teigen’s husband Legend said he was “in awe of her” as they expanded their family once more.
He told People magazine: “There’s still a lot of recovery, but she’s doing great with it. She’s so smart and strong and women go through a lot to bring life into the world and I’m always in awe of her for that.
“[It’s] very exciting. I was just saying my kids are doing so well. My older kids are doing so well with her and (it) just fills the house up with more love.
“I just think we’re more comfortable with ourselves and our parenting style and I think we’re just more comfortable being parents now. So, dare I say, it’s easier.”
Teigen announced she was pregnant last August, two years after suffering the devastating loss of their baby, Jack.
Announcing their baby joy in January, the TV star confirmed their daughter’s full name, Esti Maxine Stephens, and said their house was “bustling”.
