Chris Sutton blasted the call to rule out Liam Scales' early strike against Ross County as a 'shocking decision'.
Celtic thought they had the lead in the opening stages at the Global Energy Arena after the Ireland defender struck. The ball dropped to the centre-half after Oh went up for an aerial duel with County's Jordan White.
Referee David Munro blew his whistle to award the hosts a foul as soon as the ball hit the net though, and after a VAR check, the onfield decision to rule the goal out remained the same.
It seemed to be a soft foul on White, but with no clear and obvious error displayed by Munro, VAR was quite correct within its own guidelines not to intervene.
But that didn't stop former Celtic striker Sutton was blasting the officials for their viewpoint on the situation.
He wrote on X: "That’s a shocking decision to not award the goal…"
He continued while appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports: "I am really confused about this. it's two players jumping for the ball. I don't think Jordan White is fouled."
On commentary duties, James McFadden commented: "I think it's Oh up a little bit early.
"It's a great finish from Liam Scales. It's just because he puts the arm up on Jordan White's back. You see Oh there, is that enough, really? I am not sure."
James Brown was sent off after just 10 minutes for a shocking challenge on Yang, while Oh also had a goal ruled out himself after Daizen Maeda, who teed him up for the tap-in, was adjudged to be offside.
Meanwhile, the Green Brigade may be banned from attending Celtic matches, but their presence is still on show it seems.
A Green Brigade banner was unfurled by Celtic fans ahead of their lunchtime clash against Ross County today.
Backed by a large travelling support, the Hoops fans have draped the advertising hoardings with several banners and flags in the stand behind the goal where they're situated.
The banner displays the message 'ultras' with a Green Brigade logo in the centre of it. And while the group shouldn't officially be there, the banner has made its way into the ground this afternoon.
