Chris Sutton reacts to huge Martin O'Neill call in Celtic XI vs Rangers

Chris Sutton has questioned a major Martin O'Neill Celtic starting XI call ahead of the match against Rangers.

The Parkhead boss has opted to drop Haissem Hassan to the bench for the trip to Ibrox in the Premier Sports Cup.

The winger has been replaced in the starting XI by Camilo Duran, with Sebastian Tounekti on the opposite flank.

Sutton has revealed he is uncertain over the call to leave Hassan out from the start.

Tounekti joins Duran and Kasper Hogh in the frontline for Celtic at Ibrox this afternoon.

Reacting to the team news, Sutton posted on X: "Not sure about Hassan on the bench..."

Celtic Starting XI: Johnstone, Donovan, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Tierney, McGregor, Baur, Nygren, Duran, Tounekti, Hogh.

Subs: Sinisalo, Lotomba, Trusty, Sorensen, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Hassan, Mheuka, Murray, Forrest.
