Celtic hero Chris Sutton has warned Michael Beale that his 'credibility' could be on the line should Rangers fail to win their Scottish Cup semi-final against the Hoops.
It's make or break for the Light Blues, who lie 13 points behind their Glasgow rivals in the Scottish Premiership, with only 15 more to play for. While they have already lost the Viaplay Cup Final earlier this season. Everything is now lying on the latest Hampden showdown and Sutton believes anything but progression will be deemed as failure for Beale as he raised the question of whether the Londoner is the long-term man to bring success back to Ibrox.
Rangers are current holders but go into the clash off the back of a damaging loss to Aberdeen and Sutton told Viaplay Sports: "It's about winning, isn't it. We all know that. Brian [Laudrup] and Ally [McCoist] are getting the bunting out for Rangers the last couple of performances but ultimately they have ended up losing and that's the big deal.
