Chris Sutton continues Todd Cantwell feud with 'TikTok' jibe

Celtic hero Chris Sutton has continued his feud with Rangers midfielder after the Hoops' 1-0 victory at Ibrox.

The former Parkhead striker made a TikTok related joke about his fellow Englishman which reignited a back-and-forth the two men have been having over the last couple of months.

Sutton tweeted: "Won't be much movement on Tik Tok tonight..."

Back in July, the 50-year-old accused the playmaker of diving in pre-season, saying: "Any pre-season contenders for the Simulation Game yet?"

It came after Cantwell himself tweeted that Sutton was not one of the best pundits in Scotland, leading to the ex-Hoops star responding: "Here is some balanced factual punditry from last season Tik Tok you may not enjoy.

"You joined Rangers on a free from the Championship and lost every meaningful game against Celtic and won nothing."

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers waxed lyrical about his players at full time, with Liam Scales, in particular, being singled out for praise.

He told BBC Sportsound: " I think the players needed that win to feel what it is like and feel what the intensity is like at a club like Celtic.

"To come here and play, especially in the first half, really good football with that composure we want to play.

"In the second half, we had to fight and show resilience. Any games I have ever won here, despite the scoreline, you always have to defend in moments and the players did that.

"The scoreline could have been better for us in the second half if we had been clearer with our passing and the final ball.

"To come here and keep a clean sheet, to come here and win without one supporter in the stadium except our board is brilliant and I am so happy for the players.

"I thought he [Scales] was absolutely magnificent today, I can always rely on him.

"He's a good guy, he wants to play games and I thought today he really stood up to the challenge and was absolutely brilliant. I'm very happy for him."
