Chris Sutton brands Ally McCoist Rangers celebrations 'embarrassing' but Ibrox hero quips he's practicing for Seville

Chris Sutton has held Ally McCoist accountable for his dad dancing after Rangers Europa League semi final triumph.

Sutton branded the Ibrox icon "embarrassing" after he was filmed joining in with the joyous celebrations after the final whistle at Ibrox last night.

Despite the comment, McCoist has promised to get his dancing shoes back on in a couple of weeks as Rangers travel to Seville to take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the grand finale of the European competition.

The pundits reflected on the hilarious moment, which was caught on camera during his punditry duties on Thursday.

Chris Sutton poked fun of Ally's antics on BT's Scottish Football Extra.

He said: "It was a little bit embarrassing, some of the dad dancing from Ally."

"But look, I totally get him embarrassing himself. I've hammered Rangers over the years, and they've completely deserved it, but hats off to them on this run.

"The players will never forget it."

Ally admitted he is getting a bit of stick for his moves, but it won't stop him pulling them out again during the Seville showpiece.

However, Ally did not seemed phased and promised he would be pulling out the same moves during the Seville showpiece.

He said "Let me tell you something guys, I will be working on that [dancing] for Seville.

"I will be working on a couple of moves and you will see some different dancing from me.

"Don't worry about that."

And if Rangers win? Who knows what we can expect from Ally.
