Chris Shields is hoping the chance to bring some silverware to Windsor Park before the end of the season can give Linfield a boost in their remaining League games.
The Blues haven't won the League Cup since their narrow win over Ballymena United back in 2019, and Shields said David Healy has reminded the players of that.
"It's a chance to win a trophy before the end of the season," he said.

"Any game at this stage of the season you have to relish because it is the business end of the season and a club like Linfield are expecting to be in and around everything.
"Before the first game at Moyola the gaffer said this is a cup that a lot in our group probably haven't won yet.
"It's a good trophy to win...I've won a few of them down south myself and I always enjoyed winning them because they are that bit earlier before the league and Irish Cup are handed out."
Shields netted in Linfield's 2-0 win over Coleraine last month and is expecting another tough test tomorrow.
"The old cliches come out - form goes out the window, especially in a cup final, but being in football as long as I have that is the case because it's a one-off match," he said.
"They have a lot of experienced players and I feel this is Oran's best squad he's had over the years.
"They've always been a good cup team and they'll have players relishing the opportunity too."
