Chris Rock's mum not happy with Will Smith after shocking Oscars' slap

Chris Rock's mother has blasted Will Smith for slapping her son on stage at the Oscars and she's really not happy.

The actor’s infamous slap had everyone around the globe talking but it really has earned him a ticking-off from Rose Rock who doesn’t accept his apology, according to The Mirror.

“When Will slapped Chris, he slapped all of us, but he really slapped me,” she says. “When you hurt my child, you hurt me.”

Will smacked Chris across the face during the Oscars ceremony, after the he joked about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's haircut, who suffers from alopecia.

Rose says she would like to ask Will: “What in the world were you thinking?’ Chris could have stepped back and fallen. You really could have gotten taken out in handcuffs.

“You didn’t think. You reacted to your wife giving you the side-eye, and she was bowled over laughing when it happened.”

Chris has yet to comment, saying he is still “processing” what happened. Will issued a statement the next day which included an apology to Chris – but Rose says he has not contacted her son directly.

She told US TV channel WIS: “I feel really bad that he never apologised. His people wrote up a piece and said, ‘I apologise to Chris Rock,’ but something like that is personal. You reach out.”

Will, who has been given a 10-year ban from the Oscars, is now spending time in Mumbai, India, where it has been suggested he is seeing a spiritual guru to discuss his anger issues.
