Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg has become the club's youngest ever outfield player after coming off the bench in their 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town at Waters Meadow.
The Black Cats were staring down the barrel at an early FA Cup exit, after Matthew Pennington opened the scoring for Shrewsbury in the 81st minute.
Ross Stewart and Luke O'Nien both scored in second half stoppage time to complete a remarkable turnaround for Sunderland. Rigg replaced Edouard Michut in the 81st minute, and also won the corner which led to Stewart's 92nd minute equaliser.

Ex-Sunderland goalkeeper Derek Foster remains the youngest ever player in the Black Cats' history at 15 years and 185 days in August 1964. But Rigg has surpassed Jimmy Hamilton's record to become Sunderland's all-time youngest outfield player at 15 years and 203 days old.
Rigg, who is still at school, is tipped for a bright future. The midfielder has already represented England at U15, U16 and U17 level, and was also named on the bench in Sunderland's 1-1 draw at Blackpool on New Year's Day.
He has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Everton and Sunderland's fiercest rivals Newcastle United.
