Chris Pratt insisted on equal pay for ‘Jurassic World’ co-star Bryce Dallas Howard on spinoff projects

The pay gap between “Jurassic World” franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard was positively prehistoric, but he stepped right into it to insist on pay equity where he could, Howard said in a recent interview.

The gap was bigger than the $2 million difference that had first been reported in 2018, Howard told Insider in a recent interview. But Pratt stepped up once he knew, making sure her pay was higher for ancillary spinoff projects.

Initially it was reported that Howard earned $8 million for Pratt’s $10 million in the second movie in the trilogy, “Fallen Kingdom,” even though they were co-leads in all three movies comprising a continuation of the “Jurassic Park” narrative.
